Padeland ("we", "us") makes an app for organising padel games. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it to the minimum needed to run the app — we don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account — if you sign in, your email address (used only to send a one-time magic sign-in link) and a display name & avatar you choose.
- Anonymous device ID — before you sign in, we create an anonymous account so the app works and your credits/history are kept on your device.
- Game data — sessions you host or join: scores, formats, standings, and which players took part.
- Friends & chat — your friend connections and the messages, reactions, polls and events you send in the app.
- Notifications — a push-notification token so we can alert you about a new game or poll (only if you allow notifications).
- Purchases — a record of game credits you buy, validated through Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
How we use it
- To run sessions, sync scores live, and show standings and history.
- To connect you with friends and deliver your chats, polls and game invites.
- To send the notifications you opted into (a booked game, a new poll).
- To grant the game credits you purchase.
Who processes data for us
We use a small set of trusted providers strictly to operate the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication and storage (hosted in the EU).
- OneSignal — delivering push notifications.
- Resend — sending the sign-in email.
- Apple & Google — processing in-app purchases.
Retention & your choices
We keep your data while your account is active. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device settings. You can play as a guest without giving an email.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app — open Account → Delete account. This immediately removes your profile, match history, friends, chats and game bookings. You can also email support@padeland.io from the address on your account and we'll do it for you. Note that any remaining game credits are non-refundable.
Children
Padeland isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
